You need to be tested for all sexually transmitted infections as quickly as possible. If you do not have insurance, you can go to your local health department for testing. If there is a clinic in your school, go see the health care provider there. The good news is that gonorrhea can be treated with antibiotics.
You also need to speak with your health care provider about sexually transmitted infections: what are they, how to protect yourself, and which ones cannot be treated (HIV, Herpes, HPV). Your ex-boyfriend needs to be tested also!
In addition to the information on Fact Not Fiction, you can download the app: Your PSH (personal sexual health). The icon is blue with a white cross in the middle.

I just started using the ring as my primary form of contraception. I took my old ring out in preparation for the new one in a week, and my period started 3 days later. It was almost over by the time I put the new one in. How does the ring completely prevent ovulation if you don’t put it in on your period and the ring-free week has no hormones?

I’ve been with my partner for 6 months and for the past three months I’ve been feeling bad. I decided to go get myself checked. I got blood work done two weeks ago and my result came back that I tested positive for herpes 1&2. Is it possible that I got it from him? We have never used protection at all. Also if he gets tested, will he test positive or negative?

I am a 17 year old male. I have protected and unprotected sex with my partner, who i’ve been with for two years now. We had unprotected sex Sunday and Tuesday. When I got in the shower I looked down and saw these red dots on my penis. They don’t itch or anything like that. Idk what they are. Just scared and want someone’s help. Can you help me?

I’m only 17 and my breast have been sagging since I’ve had them (I’m pretty busty, and developed them fast and young) it makes my really self-conscious and stuff. They make me feel so bad I’m almost to the point of trying to get surgery to make them perky when I get old enough… I just don’t want to feel ugly because of them anymore…
