“My partner used to smoke a lot of marijuana and has fully quit now, but I know you can get things from sharing and all of that stuff. I’m kind of scared to have any intercourse with him cause of that fact and I asked him if he’d be willing to get checked out and he said he refuses because he has nothing. So, how can I make sure he really doesn’t have an STD?”
The only way someone can be reassured that they, or their partner, do not have a sexually transmitted infection (STI) is to be tested. If he refuses to be tested, you should not have sex with him. Remember, you can get a STI from oral, anal and vaginal sex.
Hope this helps.
